Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) has again ranked the Intellectual Property Group at �����ƽ��. among “The World’s Leading Patent �����ƽ��,” granting the firm its “Gold Band” rating for practices whose “success hinges on reputations established over lengthy periods of time, something which enables them to secure the most high-profile, big-ticket instructions from the most demanding of clients.” Gibbons is one of only three Gold Band firms in New Jersey.

In addition, eight Gibbons attorneys—David E. De Lorenzi, Chair of the Intellectual Property Group, and Thomas J. Bean, Charles H. Chevalier, George W. Johnston, Samuel H. Megerditchian, Robert E. Rudnick, Christopher H. Strate, and Estelle J. Tsevdos—were ranked individually among IAM’s leading patent practitioners, spanning the litigation, prosecution, and transactions categories. Once again, Gibbons has the highest number of ranked attorneys on the New Jersey list.

This is the eleventh straight year IAM has recognized David De Lorenzi and the firm.

To compile the IAM Patent 1000, the IAM team conducts extensive research over the course of five months with thousands of private practice attorneys based in dozens of countries, as well as the users of their services, in order to identify the practitioners and practices that are considered to excel at providing patent-related legal services.

David De Lorenzi was again selected for his longstanding, national patent litigation and transactional practices, with IAM referring to him as “a heavy hitter with decades of trial experience and an agile technical and business mind.”

Seven other Intellectual Property Group attorneys were highlighted with individual accolades. The publication ranks George Johnston among its “Luminaries” and quotes a client saying that Samuel Megerditchian is “highly prized for his ‘ability to see things from all angles and provide exceptionally well-rounded advice.’” Observing that “[i]t’s not hard to see effective collaboration when looking through Gibbons’ window,” IAM notes that Robert Rudnick and Thomas Bean “riff off each other particularly well as a result of their shared in-house background and equal talent as patent strategists and value creators.” IAM also says that Christopher Strate “effortlessly traverses the contentious/non-contentious divide, lending weight to his recommendations on strategy,” and that Charles Chevalier “is the star of the firm’s pharmaceutical patent litigation practice.” Finally, the publication calls Estelle Tsevdos, who is new to the list this year, a “life sciences and medical device ace” with a “gift for overcoming USPTO rejections.”
